Hi ecogeorge,
The PV tracker circuit is new and at this present moment is under going alpha trials, and again comes from the Fieldlines Forum, I like it as it is simple, robust, and very importantly, designed and made by folk who want it.

Tracker Circuit, but the enclosure work is a bit OTT,    http://fieldlines.com/board/index.php?PHPSESSID=e1e0735a2dd24c61622906ec79a7611e&topic=145734.72

Tracker concept, you will also see the Yanks arguing about pros and cons PV verses Wind turbines. And also some poor farmer allready shoveling snow with his Case tractor.  http://fieldlines.com/board/index.php?PHPSESSID=e1e0735a2dd24c61622906ec79a7611e&topic=145949.0

The Lorentz installation manual would be very interesting, please do forward. PDF?
At present my design puts all its weight perfectly balanced on one load bearing seesaw joint point, East to West. Then another for 5 position declination adjustment, manually adjusted at present. But as you are aware i am a great believer in absolute minimal materials use.

Collecting apples today for the cider making weekend ahead, and also well in to making the Multi Battery Monitor Circuit PCB.

I think we need to alert the public to the scale of our energy use and the enormity of the hardware needed to supply a reasonable level of power. The nimbys need to understand that unless we start accepting the inevitable, whether it is PV, Wind, Nuclear or whatever, society and the climate will fall apart. That will be very messy for the nimbys as well.

First two steps on the journey to RE...

1. Reduce energy usage, then
2. Reduce it a bit more.
