you cannot beat an old forklift truck, some of the old ones still function perfectly, they might have a little leak or be a bit tempermental to start but they can do the work of ten men in mins, especially if you pallet everything, i was hooked on lecky ones for obvious reasons.i could buy a 600ahx72volt forklift complete for 900euros,running and working,so i just drove it up to the base of the turbine carrying another 600ah x 48 pack,,life made easy, however the small wheels were usless in the yard and the battery weight meant that ,unless the ground was really hard,it would sink.my next purchase was a little toyota 48volt 400ah which i meant to use around the yard and still store lecky from my solar panels, it worked a treat untill rain got into the works and now it is solar storage only, then i bought a mitsibushi fg20.it has good sized wheels and fantastic power,it has been well looked after with good brakes and steering(how unusual,,??) it is gas/petrol and ok for working inside,i was lucky with this purchase, the seller kind of diddled me and when i went to start it first time after delivery i discovered the oil light came on after it ran for a few mins, however such news was not in keeping with the engines performance,it had neither sweat nor knock so after a new oil light switch and filter it told a different story. the thing about forklifts is that they produce amazing effortless power from a very small footprint,so you could keep your forklift stationary, fit it with a temp jib and just send it up and down as you back underneath it,and let it do all the graft.lecky one idel for this lark.then you can run a good sized inverter to power your shed from its battery while solar charging it., yup,, forklifts are money well spent. biff
