..when I say tile I mean get a pro in!

So the heat through the back of the stoves inglenook is breezeblock.
Wallpaper on the other side is peeling I guess due to long term heat issues.

Therefore should I tile that wall backingon the other room (peeling) side or tile the inglenook or both to best effect?

I guess it'll add as a heat sink & i'm keen to pass some heat through to the other room, in fact a lot more heat throughflow would be nice!

What do you reckon? pare back the plaster & natural tiles?

Don't tile either, just remove wallpaper and paint the plaster on both sides - simple and cheapest.
