How good do you reckon landscape weed control fabric would be for making pockets for these fibres in terms of overall containment & dust?

at a quid a pack it's far cheaper for our non walked on areas of the loft than foam, however I don't want anyone choking on floating fibres...

Nah, just a general question thrown out, In theory it is breathable as it's a weedblocker that allows water through,  ...typically theres many differnet types eg a glassfibre type for under paving, different plastics etc.
When I stick this sort of stuff down I plan to be able to move it if push comes to shove so try & make it less awkward.
At a quid a go it's worth a bit of experimentation seeing as I have loads of the weed material & (it's cheap).

Yes, i'll wait till I can rescue some more foil bubble insulation to lay over & under this stuff once it's encapsulated.

I ordered these via the NPower site link on Monday and they turned up today. checking the paperwork left by the driver and there's a £3.60 charge for delivery that wasn't on the original order page or the confirmation email - cheeky sods. Still a good deal though.
