A "wind up the volume and bass, and let 'er rip" sort of an album - The Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band "Never lookin' back" - if you enjoyed the Beth Hart/Joe Bonamassa album, this one is worth a listen - this is the Youtube version of the title track (not bad, but imho not the best on the album)

I like that a lot, may have to buy it which will be the first music I've bought for a long time... Can't remember when I last bought a CD?

I use a cd player in the shed, and like good albums that you can leave to play - so many these days have tracks that are best avoided, but this one can be left on "repeat" -also strongly recommend the Beth Hart/Joe Bonamassa offering as excellent...... after all the Coldkeanepatrol whinging wimpy dross, it's really nice to have music with cojones for a change! ralph

I've run out of shed CD players which work, think welding, grinding, woodworking and the damp kills them, Used old PC cd drives for a while until they had all died as well, now I've got an old Axim X5 pda (which lives in a ziploc bag) with 8gig of good tunes plugged into an old separates HiFi and the biggest speakers I could find at the dump. Tunes are pretty varied, from Joni Mitchel to Motorhead. One of the many good things about living in the middle of nowhere is being able to play LOUD tunes at any time of day  extrahappy
Have to agree about the whingers, miserable dross soon to be forgotten...

i agree,this is exellent stuff.
but you could not play it while trying to find a loose connection or reconfiguring a battery bank,, you gotta wait untill the right moment,,just when you throw the switch and everything works as it should, then you opener her up,,
its a bit eagle like and some of that harmony is def eagle. which,,which,,,,,,,,,gotta be good.
the lead guitarist, the one with the dark goggles is missing a knuckle on his right hand,,must have had some disagreements over bum notes,, hysteria         biff

Martin,

Shame on you, what were you thinking when you chose to promote a band who quite clearly have absolutely no regard for the longevity of our precious planet.

Their blatant disregard of 'peak oil' by the unnecessary waste of fuel in a 400hp Mk3 Dodge Challenger is just not acceptable for the members of this forum, the video could have just as easily been shot using an equally appropriate 'Pick Up' truck that had been subjected to a wood gas conversion  hysteria

Listened to the youtube track a few more times and decided it's bl**dy great. This might end up being the 1st album I've bought in erm, 20 years?

Turns out there is loads of good stuff on youtube. Wasted quite a few hours now (and not got any of things I'm supposed to be doing done). Flyleaf are good, as are lyriel, and WaxAudio mashups are marvelous. And rammstein sung by a choir is remarkable.
