Hi all, I have just been to the south island on holiday and saw some awsome big hydro plants which I will post pics of soon. I was just searching the net and came across this,

Just thought that some of you would be interested, the feasability report is also an interesting read and may be a handy blueprint for anyone trying to convince the authorities of their plans. Sad story though as the author drowned while checking river levels.

The south island of New Zealand has the most amazing rivers, its a hydro paradise, not enough waterwheels for my liking though, the only one I saw was rotting away on a beach!
