well the esb is about to be broken up and sold off to pay the nations debts, so electric ireland would only have a brief spell to dry its wings and then it will have proud new owners and they will have different ideas about payments.
in another few hours we begin to pay the new vat rate, foodstuffs, fuel, insurance is set to rise drastically, childrens allowence is being cut,the HSE is bust and there is not one decent good bit of news.not a single crooked banker has got locked up and clown kenny still thinks his number 5 adviser was worth the 35thou rise.
something tells me,that the few bob in multiple 19cents will never even pay for a single consultation fee(300euros a time) never mind the financial outlay for the whole plant.anyone i know who went on grid feel nothing but disgust about the way the esb treated them.(like fools).
i dont want to sound too down john,,but i am glad i am totally off grid.

a friend of mine, installed his 3kw turbine,by the book, had loads of visits from the esb,,they were not quite sure of the rules and would refere him to another engineer,,each visit was ,,yes300euros,,for,standing scratching themselves, and finally when he got going he was told that the rate was down to 9cents,,
he took his revenge, when asked to give a talk on renewable energy he got up in front of a class of teenagers and teachers and told it exactly how it happened.he gave figures and names and told everyone present that it was a costly bad decision to ever get involved and try to work with the ESB. so there is a little anger there,,,,,,,,, hysteria

Good on him, little bit of naming a shaming might do them good.  I bet the ESB press team will be spinning it from their angle and patting themselves on the back for all the CO2 they are saving!
