I'm just waiting on a replacement retro coil then its all go to commission the system Has anyone fitted a retro coil system? All Ok? Any dos and donts? Any advice much appreciated.

I used one for a couple of years, and it performed rather better than I expected it to. You need to make sure you have a zone valve (electric isolation valve/2port valve/solenoid valve...whatever you want to call it) to shut off circulation when the pump is not running, otherwise you will get thermosyphon at night which will tend to cool the cylinder.

What other form of heating do you have for this cylinder?

Hi- a condensing boiler feeding the oil in the cylinder.
