Ivan, Its a conservation area/zone and the buildings are all listed, they all share the area maintenance and all have to agree, (a company) before any works are done. The building to have PV is behind the front facade of the buildings but between the In laws house and Germany, if you get the drift.

Regards cables that are screened, yes i know lots, Some armoured is shielded, some H/duty coax has solid big copper, (like my satellite up link). But twisted cables is a good start.

But doubt if they will proceed as The National Rust has covenants over the properties.
