That's it really.
I guess I should add that I am in the UK.
I need a current account, with a hole in the wall card.
Any Ideas?

The Cactusville bank of course, no ifs, no buts................................, no money ralph

Seriously though, how about The CO OP Bank and they do business accounts now.

I am with the Co-op too for a bank.....
I am a  Co-op member so get I get my divi every year..
I insure my Van with the Co-op  and still good value.....

I believe the Co-op Bank does not do Derivative/CDS trading
either which is good. But they were down graded by the
ratings agencies last year on the ground that the "government"
probably would not bail them out if they needed it..
Too small to bail !

Id like to downgrade a few of these rating agencies.  If they had done their job right in the first place, we wouldn't be in this mess!

If it was down to me all these rating agencies would be behind bars and the keys thrown away. We dont need such leaches on society.

I concur with the advice about the Co-op - they're nice to deal with, and at least try to do their bit on the eco-front (can't see Barclays running a campaign against the Alberta tar sands - they probably fund it........). Unless they've changed, I found "Triodos" to be rather "up themselves" and were too busy being self-righteous to actually deign to talk to plebs......... whistlie

Not really to do with ethics but Co-Op insurance were (in 2005-07) extremely good, if anything too good as they didn't put much effort into fighting claims, they just paid. When it comes to insurance you hear some horror stories, these were perfect.

What's more the CO OP were (maybe still are) small sponsers of the Cambridge folk fezzie, which is where one of their (very nice) sales Ladies first asked me would I like an account,

well how could I say no......................

I'll get my coat fight
