Sorry I meant to had the spreadsheet up and running by now.

I've been making some changes and with the aid of my own personal spreadsheet teacher Kristen (thanks I'm learning so much), I've gone a bit spreadsheet crazy, with a formula here and some formating there, in an effort to make the whole thing as user friendly as possible.  I'm also in the process of incorporating a Combined Method (BS EN ISO 6946) U-value calculator (it's a lot of work by hand), linked to the main SAP sheet.

Anyhow I will keep you all informed and shout if I need a hand.

Lightfoot.

PS,  Bargeman & Co, have you got a link to the latest 9.81 document or list of updates etc, I've had a look around but they (BRE) are still listing version 9.80 ?

"This would be a very useful thing."

Although the Spreadhseet route has the benefit of being able to save the results for comparing scenarios or just coming back tomorrow to finish it off!

The Web route, provided using CGI/Backend processing rather than JavaScript, allows Navitron to harvest the juicy data of what everyone is calculating, which could be helpful for business planning I suppose.  You might just find that "Buy 6 panels and get the 7th free" is just what everyone wants  Grin Grin Grin

"with the aid of my own personal spreadsheet teacher Kristen"

yeah, well that's very kind of you to put it that way, but apart from a Database forum, and the odd occasion when I can answer a computer question, I'm a net Consumer on the Internet (sorry about the pun!), so its nice to be able to give something back, particularly given all the very useful help you've given me on this forum.

no data harvesting required by Navitron (what would we do with your SAP calculations?!) - it's just that for a lot of people, downloading a file and opening it in another program is just too much work!
