I am up on installing all the panals, controler and invertors, have done the calc on how many panels i need.

My question is how do i go about selling the surplus back to the grid and what bits do i need to enable me to do that?

Who do i spoeak to at teh elec company?

All help gratefully received.....

You need to get a grid tie inverter to connect to your electrical supply. You will also need to have an export meter. You can call your electricity company to arrange this, but unless you are lucky the person on the phone won't have a clue what you are talking about. Western Power were pretty helpful, and they tend to arrange the export meters for most of the pther companies. The price was £80 incl fitting when I had mine installed.
