Wookey et all - lots of good information here, any further feedback on your flow meter(s) ?

Would like to hook one up to my Arduino for experimentation so looking to get one

Ideally I'd like to use one of the electromagnetic/ultrasonic ones so it's non-invasive (ie clamps around the pipe, not needing to be plumbed in), but I guess these are too expensive for our application?  have you looked into these at all wookey?

The swissflow one I'm using is working fine and has survived one stagnation episode as well as a lot of filling/draining and pipe-tightening, so it does appear to be sufficiently robust, despite looking a bit small and plastic. I'm (still) not graphing its output so I'm not sure how accurate it is in practice. I'd use one again if doing another install.

Kristen is about to fit some larger flow-meters, which may produce some more feedback. A danfoss magic external sensor was mentioned by his installer, but at GBP 300-odd is too expensive for most of us.
