something i came across the a while ago is that bosch and siemen are doing a joint venture, (at the moment non profitable), they have developed a stove, a sort of combination of a wok and parrafin tilly pump up lamp, they will be developing lights and heaters, anyway these lamps will run on anything from veg oil, used or new to parrafin, kerosene, they are researching them in the philipines, aparrently each person that cooks and heats etc with fire wood burns not far off a ton of wood a yr, alot as you can see, all putting more carbon into the atmosphere, soya, or should i say plant based oil is carbon free, of course there is the problem of producing the oil as im sure everyone knows, but so is there with mineral oil, plus the carbon emmision, Its ammazing what you can get oil from

These look interesting, BUT

http://cgi.ebay.com/ALASKA-HEATER-ALASKA-STOVE-OIL-HEATER-SPACE-HEATER-TENT_W0QQitemZ170172215125QQihZ007QQcategoryZ66905QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

They are only $25, weigh 20Kg (not 20lb) and shipping is £55.

Are there any other heaters or boilers that are more accessible, and usable?
