Fantasic forum.
I'm learning all sorts of stuff regarding RE, but not qwuick enough!!

I need to understand units of measurement for PV cels and heating generaly - eg a 60W panel, equates to what as a % of a house's needs over a year???  How many of these 60W panels would you therefore need to make a diference to your overall need, thereby reducing the need for dependence on the national grid...?

GSHP's - a Navitron 9kW pump would provide (using UFH) how much of my home's overall heating requirement?  Using a CoP (?) of 1:4, does this mean I'd effectively be reducing my demand by 75%, i.e. I'd cut my heating bills by 75% ?!   WOuld the power generated by Whispergen's CHP be sufficient for this need ??

These and many (many) more questions await!!

Cheers for any advice.  Any good books to read up on this stuff?
