List,

I recently purchased a woodstove and backboiler, and after considerable procrastination about the cost of the twin-wallled flue liner, I found a company on fleabay that would offer 10 metres of 6" liner for £180.

After contacting the company, I found that ordering direct through their website, that an even greater discount was available  - so I prompty ordered the flue line, end fittings, chimney kit  and 300 litres of vermiculite insulation to back fill the brick chimney - total cost delivered £306.

Imagine my surprise, when I went downstairs, blearly eyed, at 6-30am today, to find the delivery note stuffed though my letter box,  and a 10 metre stainless steel "python"  curled up asleep, outside my front door.

It appears that the flue liner fairies had been in the night.  What amazed me is that I didn't hear a thing.

If you need a budget flue liner, delivered in the dead of night, why not have a look at fluestore.com
