Fronius IG30 Inverter (bit over spec for this install but client wants to add further panels)

Very neat indeed. How are the panels mounted? The StB system used Ivan's system (using rear mounting) but that would be never commercially viable as it is too much of a pain/

the rails are standard Schuco rails fixed to the roof with plain tile roof anchors, the panels are secured with mid and end clips with a couple of retaining clips for each panel, the roof anchors are fixed directly into the joists, we used a marley modern vent tile to get our cables in.

I looked at Schuco but they seemed very expensive at the time. But it indeed is very neat. How much was the cost?

the rails are were £23 + VAT unfortunately we had to buy a lot of 12 so ended up near £300!!! all the other fixings were the same having to buy full boxes  so all in all it cost over £400, but we wont have to buy rails for a while and still have loads of clips and retaining brackets! just hope we install sanyo panels on the next job  Smiley

Looks a neat job, and the 240W is a lovely panel.

Professional Comment - I'd check your mounting positions on the panels for the next one though, they look very close to the edge and potentially out of the 'warranty zone'.
