I am in the process of ordering solar hot water and have a query regarding which solar controller to use. I have narrowed it down to the Resol ES (V-Bus) or the TDC3-Ethernet and would like to know if either of these can be remotely controlled by the PC using software supplied.

Depends what you mean by remotely controlled.

The 'old' version of the TDC3-e can be remotely programmed, and displayed as if you are standing in front of it pressing buttons, using Sorel software on the same network.

The new version of the TDC3-e has much greater capability (see the other thread in this section on TDC3-e), but we're just starting to experiment with it.
