Is that a Navitron turbine? Nice sequence of photos of tower erection.

Hi All

Sorry about my inability to add pictures, thanks SteveH for doing that for me.  Will add some pictures of the inverter, etc later.  It is all wired in but there is a fault on the unit that points it into the wind, they are bringing a replacement tomorrow.

The turbine is of Chinese origin, Shenzen or something like that.

Will keep you updated.

Hello Paul

If the controller as supplied was for a battery system you can still use it for driving the generator into / out of wind.

Connect 230 V.A.C. to the terminals ( to main power ) on rear.

I used a double wound isolation transformer to supply the device. Because there is no transformer fitted inside or fuses / circuit breakers. You could have problems with the house earth leakage trip if you don’t.

My one is C.E. marked with all three phase, D.C.  and control cables wired in green / yellow earth cable, but it worked after a fashion.

I have one here if required.

If I can help give me a call

Regards

Alan

Hi Alan

Thank you for your offer, but the installers are bringing a replacement board for the controller.  Will keep you posted as to performance.

Regards

Paul
