Hi I wondered does anyone know how to stop the controller from circulating when the sun has gone away, ie My cylinder has heat up to a comfortable 50*c, the s1 is in high 50's but the tdc3 controller is still activating the pump. (In effect releasing heat through the manifold?!!)

what are your settings?

the pump should only run if there is more than X degrees difference - less than this = no pump....

Sounds like you may have the dT1 setting too low for the 'off' temperature.

Select '5. Adjustments' then '3 delta T1' - if you have short pipe runs (under 5m) set to 6C/4C, if you have long pipe runs (c.10m), set to 12C/8C. You can play around with the figures, but that should give you a starting point
