Hey folks it's been a while, business took off enough to keep me really busy, as did pc problems & the inevitable backlog!

I'll upload the latesst in series of photos as have finally got the lintels in (there was an RSJ up there unbeknownst to me)

having to hang about to get a 45 degree Isokern block (VERY NICE PEOPLE @ ISOKERN) ..THANKS SLEEPYBUBBLE for pointing me their way, both Lucy & Tony are good to talk to & can get you out of a spot in less than 18 hrs freight time! so I'll be using them again for the next more straight forward stove in my workshop!

The isokern is to join my terracotta flue ready to seat my stovepipe & get us a test fitting! lots of rubble removed in the latest round & a whacking great hole big enough to park a taller than the norm smart car in!
Overall it is simple, cheap to hire props etc, you do need advice as to loadbearing pinioning on the one brick I would have started on (before knowing of the rsj hidden up at ceiling height)

Anyone got any idea where I can buy a metal outer -inner airvent  to comply with regs? (which I'll inevitably block off afterwards with logs..
Pictures soon I promise! ..nice to be able to get back here again, missed the banter.

now do I rip out the poor foam insulation where I can & stick some foil backed in instead?

(ditto same around the void above the terracotta flue pipe)?
