1. Where to source a feed & expansion tank which is heat resistant?  The std one - which is all I can find at local plumbers merchants - is ultra-thin plastic, with a 'cold water only' warning sticker on it


I can't find one either - please let me know about it if you do!

Thanks for the responses.

Yep, I was aware that Build Control need to look at/approve DIY stove installation, but didn't realise the same was the case ref vented heating system.

Re F&E (and Mr Pipples' comment) - from the websites, it seems that plastic (poly  .....)  is ok, as long as supported properly, with copper ball etc etc.  I'm surprised, but that's what the WRAS guidance says.

Looks like I need a 28mm pipe bender then......
