Strangely enough, this is the first Pumpkin-carving website I've ever had the pleasure of visiting! :-)

Bit 'merkinized! I mean "The new Bald Eagle pattern will perfectly promote your patriotic pride" and "You can almost smell the candy corn and caramel apples already". Let alone them having their dates backwards.

Can't us Brits come up with a rival Turnip/Swede/Mangel Wurzel carving site? Patriotic "Bulldog's danglies" design?

Reminds me: Radio 4 just after 9 this morning was discussing the derivation of the large number of expressions such as "Bee's knees", "Cat's whiskers" (generically "Animal's body-part"), meaning something excellent. Thought they were skirting around another well-known example, but no - there was then a whole section devoted to the "Dog's b*llocks"!

if you go & look through the sections, theres plenty for all, Ryan the website owner is based in america & american, he has very few brits logging in though plenty from elsewhere.

look through the area entitled "petrifying patterns" for more of an idea...

Thought that some of you crusty green types'd be growing AMERICAN origin pumpkins in your plots & gardens, so heres a site for you to utilise!

...$2 via paypal for 2 designs $5 for as many as you'd like for a year (currently over 150 designs including kids)
VERY good value VERY good results, as an alternative to all the green stuff!

My personal favourite. This one was entitled 'They eat their own' . I can't remember where I found it as it was years ago. An American website.

Then this site may be for you & I alone Ivan, Halloween dressing up (of the house & ourselves) is what we go in for (more than xmas) last year we had in excess of 200 children in a quiet village turn up.
Have a rummage on th ZP site, they also do a fantastic proper pumpkin carving saw set which makes things far less A&E than kitchen knives!

Here's a sample of one I did last year, from the scarecrow style sample image.

Good of you to include a pumpkin in the picture for scale - so I can judge how big that milk bottle is :-)

That ain't half detailed! And extremely finely hollowed-out!
