This is a course book for the Open University T206 Energy for a Sustainable Future course, and published in 2004 so is pretty up-to-date.

Each chapter features a different technology and is written by one of the Open University Technology Development Group. There are colour charts, drawings and diagrams on virtually every page.

Possibly the answer to every generic technical question that has ever been asked here about renewables can be found in this book.

I think I'll try and scan a couple of pages later to show you just what sort of detail this book contains.
