Is it just me, or has the forum/server etc gone a bit tits-up again, as the last few posts that appear in the recent posts list don't exist when you click on them and/or others seem to be repeated etc seem to be repeated etc Huh

Mother Nature is a wonderful housekeeper - but eat her out of house and home and you may just get your marching orders.

Yeah, I had problems last night trying to post a reply. Looks like both my attempts regisitered in the index but the messages are not there.

[edit]

I've just posted the reply again and it is there now - but I noticed that the two previous messages do show up in the lower part of the screen when I am in the reply box.

Looks like the database is a little corrupt.

Yeah 'too many connections' was all you could get from the server until at least 3am last night. I concluded that something had gone very broken, and Martin was probably being kept busy.

It managed to persuade me to post the same post five times at seven or so. Navigated fine through the pages, but wouldn't let me post (or so I thought).

Sincere apologies. We'll have to tighten the screws. If it's not sorted soon, we're going to have to look for alternative hosting, but that's not something I'm looking forward to  horror

Not sure exactly what you need, but if you do end up looking for new hosting, I've been using Bytemark virtual machines for about 6 years now and remain very satisfied. They do full machines too if you need that.
