Hi folks

I'm setting up the data logging/control of my existing heating and one of the things I want to do is detect when the immersio heater in the thermal store is actually heating vs when it is powered.

So I've Googled around and found various current sensors and transducers staring around £45 quid  but I wondered if anyone had any recomendations?

Many Thanks

Hic!

Hello Mr Hic

Try Radio Spares part 399-7339 at £0.49

produces 1.0volt output for each amp of current in a single turn.

Ah - minor problem - unlikely to work at 50Hz

I'll keep looking

OK, I found something similar that is specified down to 50Hz.
