WVO Collection.

This seems a daft question but does any one have any idea where I can obtain WVO.
Chip shops seem to use the solid lard type fat and Chinese and Indian restaurants don’t seem to have any spare.
Mc Ds and schools wont let me have any as they have arrangements to remove the waste off site.
Any other ideas anyone.

If you only need small quantities - say 20 litres a week,  try your local pub/restaraunt.

If you sweet-talk the chef, and offer him a couple of quid per can, he will often be glad to let you have it.  Arrange a  a regular collection time and day to suit his schedule - they normally dumpthe fryers oncea week - usually Monday morning.

Make sure you are in a position to collect regularly - the last thing the chef wants is to have waste oil piling up outside because you have failed to collect.
