My first recollection of tinkering was wiring a 240v radio cord to a 9v motor to my technic Lego truck, it ended with setting the kitchen on fire!............................I couldn't sit down for two days!

Make your own with good quality malting barley variety direct from the farm.
Soak for 24 hours, strain and keep warm to start germination for 24 hours.
This changes the stored starch to reducing sugars.
Lightly roast and sparge to release the now sugar.

The smell is divine.  This is malt. as in radio malt we had as kids and the left overs are purified to make marmite.

Solidify and break up like toffee to make malt crystal.

Yum.
