Given the language that abounds here (none of which has ever offended me in the least), I find it difficult to believe that my use of the word 'tampon' has been edited by a moderator. Ditto Amy's use of the word 'condom'. (Both words are taught in Primary School)

Is this not a bit too nanny state?

My main concern is that somebody might think that it was me that was too embarrassed to use the whole word and put the asterisks in.

I have noted the news coverage of this incident,and wonder if it would have generated the same attention if the male spaceman had dropped his bag?  Roll Eyes
