All we need now is some way of keeping the Off Topic  posts from cluttering up the recent posts screen.

That's a problem on every forum I read Sad  Dunno why the forum-writers haven't provided an opt-in to forums for the "new posts" index page.  Ho!Hum!  I really should write my own, eh?!!

Actually ... having said that ... it may be possible to achieve, on existing forums, with some of the FireFox extensions.

When we get a minute, us admin will probably start moving any off-topic posts to the correct location.

Just in case it saves you a bit of time, here are some suggestions of recent ones in General Discussion.  No opinion intended on whether these are suitable to be moved, or not

Problem with forum?
Warning - racist humour!
Being a dog-lover, it tickled me................

Yes !  This is not an area for a free-for-all. It is where members can discuss things that have precious little to do with the Forums main purpose to save cluttering the real boards with inane garbage.

In the general context of posting, if you would not be prepared for your children to read what is in a post on the Forum then please don't place it in here either.
The automatic swear filter still works in here as well.
