No, no, no far be it from me to say what you do in your own time or thread... I'd rather see graphs than frotters endlessly typed out kwh tub'o'lard consumptions.

Anyway,
Mark regarding Dataholics - it takes one to know one as they say... ( looks for one of your earlier posts but we are in the same league I think?) In any event StB well still hopefully be present here over the next few months but on other threads. Back here in spring hopefully with the StBC wind project. Anyway JrB's 5th birthday party today was able to power the bouncy castle and ASHP from my PV (tank 230L tank emptied this morning!), But almost a perfect dawn to dusk sunny day today- but a bit hot for PV- fantastic for the party!    My morning shading (two oak trees, two ashes, two poplars) -[have the chainsaw at the ready] cut about 2kWh  off today. Should I?

In its modern usage, hubris denotes overconfident pride and arrogance,

It is often associated with a lack of humility, not always with the lack of knowledge. (frotter are you listening  Grin Grin)

An accusation of hubris often implies that suffering or punishment will follow, similar to the occasional pairing of hubris and nemesis in the Greek world.

(where's the lard or maybe the plunger Grin Grin)

The proverb "pride goes before a fall" is thought to sum up the modern definition of hubris.

It is also referred to as "pride that blinds", as it often causes someone accused of hubris to act in foolish ways that belie common sense.

One final act is to post a few proper pictures - the only one of the "full roof" was taken in the rain. And the more discerning of you may have seen Stuart still at work. Good day today my Ampy meter gave 12kWh - not bad in October..

Sleepy
as already stated the antenna is no more (well electrically at least!) There is a new high gain digital antenna (a bit outside the field of view). Mechanically however it is still on the chimney. Omar is home  in Bosnia/Croatia at present but will be returning to Sheffield shortly. He was the only one of the build team to have long enough arms to reach some of the bolts and three of the bottom panels still need a  corner bolting down before the winter storms arrive. Omar will pop up one weekend in October and we will get rid of the offending antenna at the same time. Would do it myself but would like someone to hold the ladder! (A bit wimpish I know....)

I had my redundant aerial removed a year or so back when the Satellite man came to install another output in a bedroom.

Stupid me! Should have left it as the basis to put my el cheapo weather station on.

Just a thought

it is a thought, but the top band strap on Seans ariel has obviously failed, its just a matter of time before a gust takes it off and into his panels.

If it hasn't failed and it was installed like that because somebody didn't want to put a dogleg in to avoid the chimney capping then they need shooting.

I'm not just nagging for aesthetic reasons, winters coming fast and it would be a shame for one of the panels to get bust and pull the string down.
