I'd go along with that - and as I accept that we can't do it on our own, we have a very difficult choice - do we ally ourselves with Europe or the US of A? - To my mind, the US has only just applied for re-entry to the human race with the recent election result - as long as there are Sarah Palins, and the screaming eejits that would vote for her, ANY close relationship with the US has got to be at the very least, a grave worry...............
On balance I reckon I'd sooner be with the Poles and Hungarians......... whistlie

on the basis that this country has virtually nothing left thats worth invading us for,I would suggest the following defence strategy:1. stop poking our noses into other countries business, let them solve their own problems unless it directly affects us
2.leave the eu NOW! they are all parasites sucking off us,and we cant afford to keep bailing out substandard countries
3.keep our existing forces and nuclear deterrants(even if they used to partly belong to others, tough! ours now!)
4.set about making a good, honest society where no one gets an alternative to work unless genuinely sick, and everyone pulls their weight
5.let no one into the country to live unless they can prove their loyalty, prove they can add value ,and speak english
6.anyone who doesnt support the country 100% should be asked to leave forthwith
7.reintroduce the death penalty, and extend it to cover bent politicians
8.get on with enjoying our peaceful new life  garden
