We've had requests for a few new areas to be added to the forum. We've also had requests to reduce the number of topics on the forum

It's not easy to please all of the people all of the time, but we've done our best: The forum has been restructured slightly, we've tried to merge or rename existing boards rather than to create a whole host of new ones. We've tried to redistribute some of the boards in the rather over-populated 'general' section. We've also altered the grouping structure to hopefully be a little more logical than before - eg we previously had 'grid connected wind turbines' under the 'wind turbine' heading, whereas now it has been renamed 'grid-connected renewables' and located in the new board 'Energy/Electricity Storage and Use/Grid Connection'

I'm sure it won't meet with everyone's approval, but hopefully it's a step forward and a good compromise. Feel free to post any comments on the new structure here, or any suggestions for improvement.

My first recollection of tinkering was wiring a 240v radio cord to a 9v motor to my technic Lego truck, it ended with setting the kitchen on fire!............................I couldn't sit down for two days!
