Hi there!!  police

I like Navitron stuff so much that I intend to buy more and more as time goes on!!
Now here is a question for everyone on the forum and also the company!!

As far as i`m aware when you buy a Navitron panel it has a little slim barcode on it!!

Would it be a good idea to make a database of the barcode number so that if a panel is stolen we all might be able to get it back!! LOL

I think this would be ideal to prove that our panels belong to us and that no one gets mixed up with stolen solar panels that are on ebay taken by the local crooks in their van sawing them off LED traffic signs!!

Maybe the barcode on all the panels couls be used to beat the crinimals that try to sell on panels!! :-)  police police

 Hi Weevic,
Is the barcode on a sticker, data plate etc etc, and how is that attached to the panel?

My first recollection of tinkering was wiring a 240v radio cord to a 9v motor to my technic Lego truck, it ended with setting the kitchen on fire!............................I couldn't sit down for two days!

Good thinking. I'll look into it.

The barcode is good because it sits right where the solar cells are and can`t be removed :-)  police

This would be an ideal identification mark on all panels!!!

I just checked three of my panels and they all have the barcode with different numbers. I think the factory has used it as a production run number which would be ideal as using as an identification number!!

Just think if the local council had these panels stolen by someone during the night !! If they were on sale on ebay they could be tracked! :-)

I tell you there is a few around where I stay!! lol lol
