With banks now severly restricting the amount of money they lend to busineses, are they occupying the position of "Most hated people in UK" ?

A position previously held by the likes of tax inspectors, estate agents and traffic wardens  fume

Unemployment in Ireland is heading for 20% of the workforce and the increase is nearly 2% per month.    I don't think bankers and politicians can be entirely  blamed for the situation, everyone had a hand in it.

OT W woss / C Thatcher but on course,
it just go's to prove what I've thought (& despised) for years that if you commit a cardinal sin ..& apologise regardless of sincerity you are deemed to have done the right thing (& therefore are still bankable) ..hence when you have the inevitable Feck ups committed by big companies & contact phonelines answered by minimum wagers taught not to think out of the box THEY (as a company get irate at the fact that their apology is not accepted by the unfortunate customer ..& get the @rse without having helped the customer out of the cr@p they are responsible for)

On that basis we are royally .....d.

Agreed but where a going concern is desperate for an injection of working capital to sustain orders and employment, its immoral for banks who have been given a slice of the 37 billion of gov (tax payers money) to withold that from small to medium sized businesses.

It must be passed on.

Dont even mention bonuses.
