Before I start to modify a Maplin water detector kit has anyone any idea of an easy way to add a detector onto my one-wire network to signal when the basement floods?

(Just in case someone has already done this)

Thanks

Hi

The Maxim DS2450 is an A/D convertor which you could use to measure resistance and if you google for Leak Detection Tape I think its around £1.00 per metre.

Cheers

RS float switches are nice simple devices.

Although, by the time they start floating it's probably a bit too late!
