Actually mind does rather well in the Garden for what is is...

I move mine about to catch the sun!!! I also take them up the hills on a sunny day and blast out my CB Radio  help hahahah!!! It charges my battery so I can talk to other radio people 60 miles away or even abroad!!!

I also use the power to boil a kettle every few hours of the day!! When I`m at home..

All the power gets used up!!!  I dont store it!! I just use it!!! :-) My batteries are more like capacitors than storage devices.

I also power my laptop all over the place with them...Especially when i`m doing security work and the sites don`t have electricity yet these panels are very handy!!!! :-)

When it gets dark I have to take them in the house so the neds and the chavs don`t steal them!!!

I love my solar panels!!!

They have so many uses!!

I hopr to have a solar farm one day!!! :-)

weevic has the bug!

..actually I was thinking you need a little "solar chariot" to transport those batteries a bit easier, the old radio flyer red cart for kids looks ideal! ..knock down on your set up time & perma-proof your valuable batteries a bit more!

Austroflamm stove & lot's of Lowe alpine fleeces, & a tiny pen15 ..if we're comparing solar set ups!

Sounds like you need a Navitron solar tube for boiling the water - basic, cheap solar technology which will heat 1.4litres of water to boiling point a couple of times a day from March onwards, when the sun is shining. Also a lot cheaper than the equivalent output of solar PV.
