April's production is nearly on target, I was expecting 200 kWh and only got 184 kWh (PV) still, better than last year with my 40watts panel... I suppose it is a bit off-topic, we ought to start a pv production thread...




For the Hot water I don't have an accurate means of measure but we did put the boiler on only a couple of times for 30 minutes to maintain the top of the tank above 50. The rest of the time it was on 50 or well over (up to 65 which is the max I have set up the system for).

Excellent idea. You should start one. Can you also include location, size of PV array, and orientation in the post(s) - as it helps when people read it in isolation of any previous posts you've made.

its a East west installation

East 20 tube panel 
172L tank
West 20 tube panel

I have been data logging on the TDC since Dec 08 and the KWH readings are something like this ( difficult to read off the graphic monthly output)

Jan               60 ish
Feb              116 ish
March           330 ish
April             348 ish
May             70 ish to date

Total             934Kwh since dec
pumps operating hours is 262
