Jackieyqui smith is hell bent on launching this stupid ID card thingy isnt she?

But how will a voluntary system work?
Doesnt that mean the very people who should have one, wont? Where will the average stani terrorist get the money from? Mug a granny?
The nerdy people will get one, something else to stuff the wallet or purse out with and waste another £80 on.

That makes it an expensive grouting tool or windscreen scraper.

Don't kid yourself that it'll be "voluntary". Pretty soon, shops will refuse to serve you booze, smokes, or anything at all with a credit/debit card unless you show your "voluntary" ID card...

This was on Jeremy Vine at lunch time and aparantly, the gov didnt tell the full story this morning.

Evasion is next best thing to a lie so what do you expect?

Anyway, the card is 30 quid but what they didnt say was your council tax will be another £100 to cover the admin
