I got fed up waiting for another electric bill from brit gas so i just read the meter and phoned it in.

18 feb- today, 15 may,   £31.87. not bad eh?

But, when i asked why i always have to contact them to pay my bill, cos i dont want it dragging on for months then being hit with a big one, silly bint lied and said i had been sent a bill on may 1st.

Oh yeah, so what was it based on?  oh it was estimated. How much was the bill for?, .....£31.87.

F***ing amazing. Can you please pick my lottery numbers for me, cos thats exactly the amount i owe you as of this moment, yet you guessed that over 2 weeks ago. How do you do it. Phone simon cowel and get on the TV cos thats a bloody miracle

Silly bint was lost by now, started waffling company cr@p and digging herself deeper.

Who do we trust?   NO ONE. add brit gas to the list of westminster thieves.

You can add NPower too,

It took us months to get over paid bills back and then we had to get "watchsomething" to get them to kick ass. It wasn't a small amount either.

In 18mths they never read either meter once or took any notice of our sent in estimates. The overpayments just kept climbing and climbing.

During that time we had a new gas meter fitted due to a fault, it leaked. So the reading was now 00000, they accused us of fiddling and didn't know how to bill us so they guessed the old meter reading.

Priceless I tell ya.... help

I'm with E-On, who on the whole have been quite good. One irksome thing is that the balance on these fixed monthly payments accounts never seems to zero after winter. However, I submit readings in advance of every bill (they tell me when the bill is coming), and so there are no estimates. If I send them better predictions about consumption and suggest they reduce my payment, they usually do it.

i took control and declined the direct debit option as i know of old how these companies steal from you.

I pay for what ive actually used, when ive used it, not a guess based on the depth of bat guano in a cave deep in mexico jungle last thursday week provided the moon rose before 1823hrs and the hens all laid one egg that day before the volcano erupted if the inn keeper was wearing red sox and his wife had shaved that day

I dont trust ANYONE with my money
