Are there any 4x4 fetishists who are familiar with an alternator/generator i saw advertised in the landrover mags about 12-15 years ago

It fitted on an engine and not only made 12v but also 24, 110 and 220v and provided a welding ampage too.

It might be worth contacting this company for landrover spares as my father has had many hard to obtain parts for his ageing Landrover series1

I remember those but the name escapes me. You can still get them vis USA & Australia I think. Or try a Travel Power system.

Might be worth asking camillitech, perhaps via his blog.  He's a bit of an off-grid Land Rover fetishist, last seen welding and painting his Land Rover doors.
