Wait a minute

It would be preferable if it was to ban the fiasco re height above the roof tiles for thermal panells

far more effective than a choc teapot.

There are more efficient way to generate from wind than doing it at home

Let me make it very plain first of all that I am a great fan of wind power, and wholeheartedly support properly sited turbines of all sizes (and would happily support a large crop of wind flowers across my beloved South Downs)......
BUT, as your petition is worded, all it does is to encourage "chocolate teapots", which in probably over 99.9% of British homes are irrelevant and totally useless -and are in fact totally counter productive (will NEVER pay back the embodied energy used in their construction, let alone pay for themselves during their lifetime).
I would object most strenuously to any consent for a building-mounted turbine in the vicinity of my home, particularly if it were part of the same terrace or semi-detached building due to building transmitted noise, and the very real danger of structural damage...... Sorry, the petition is a total crock (unless, of course, you work for/have shares in one of the teapot manufacturers) Lips Sealed
