Hi

Just ordered two this morning & received e-mail confirmation, so I guess rainwater harvesting has moved up on my to do list!

Here is the link to the makers installation guide  http://h20-group.co.uk/media/aquarius_installtion_guide_below_ground.pdf
Although they don't mention a 1000L tank?

I wonder if this is the type of pump & filter that will also be supplied?

I ordered 2 at nine this morning and got a confirmation email straight back saying they would call to confirm a delivery date.  What I'm going to do with them I know not.   facepalm

Hello Billy

I have five large sheds in Althorne if you need some where to store them.

The B.Q. link no longer works.

Althorne, as in "just round corner from me" Althorne.  With the Church were they do the Teddy tossing parachuting next to the Burnham rail line?

I am putting feelers out to some greenish village people who already have there own well and another who is about to build a green house.  See if they turn up hey.  Thanks Alan.

Went to B&Q earlier and found the two 330 litre column tanks waiting on a trolley for me to collect. The price label says £168 each and I paid £100 on credit card for the two of them.  Good luck to all those who ordered the big tanks!

Out of interest the website says out of stock for reserve/collect or buy online, which is a lie as my local B&Q in Cambridge had about 10 of these tanks on the shelves outside. My guess is someone c***ed up bigtime and I got a bargain.

Mr GUs - it said it was down for maintenance. Maybe  they really do do maintenance on sunday afternoon? Not beyond the realms of possibility.

I ordered one too. Thinking I should have gone for two really as 1000l isn't that much. Still, much better thana poke in the eye with a sharp stick.

I wanted to buy 2 but as I've never broached the subject of rainwater harvesting... I didn't think it would go down to well with her in doors..

How the hell I am going to getr the water form the roof into this thing is beyond me at the moment. To achive the 2 meters away form the house, I am more like going to be about 8 meters from the downpipes. Also I'm going to have to put the supply oform the roof though a wall and across ad terrice and down another 3 or 4 ft.....

I can see this being behind the shed for a while... I really need to get the wood burner off that pallet in the fornt room... she's started to comment  Smiley

that way we may have some bargaining power/ leverage.
