Another good month, although given that it's still 24C outside at 10pm, you'd probably expect that. Graph's a bit misleading this month as the boiler's been permanently off for the whole month anyway.

Best month so far.   June total output 388kwh compared to 347 in May and 302 in April.   What is surprising is that even dull days water is heated adequately, probably because the mains water is warmer, having been in a tank in the attic for a while.   Conversely the high output days only  overheated slightly.     It seems that the actual variation in output readings may be a bit less that indicated by the TDC3 controller.

Very sunny month for SW France.  Massive heat dump everyday.  Heating the pool and jacuzzi, dumping heat under the insulated pool (regularly gets to 34C, dumping heat into a 1000 lt rain barrel and heat loss loop.  The PV production for this year attached.  Solar thermal at least 1300 kWh this month.  Need to get electricity from this heat  (when Matteran Energy gets its products on sale).

its been a satisfying week so far, for a new solar thermal owner.
its also pleasing to know that my heat dump works a treat, dumping through the radiators which are barely warm by the time i get home from work.

You all put me to shame with your fancy graphs and pie charts (keep up the good work!).

Suffice to say, my solar system has been contributing 100% of our hot water requirements from  c.March 8th to date.

yeah i don't have fancy data either

the system has more than proved itself during summer, i can't wait for autumn/winter, to see how it does then.

miserable weather for at least a week, but we're hanging in there - tank temperatures dropped as low as 48C this evening. OK for showers etc - hoping for some sun tomorrow to recharge the cylinder.

Looking back on this thread, no one's going to be impressed with the temperatures, but here and now I am actually quite impressed: We've had around a fortnight of bad weather - seems to be raining most of the day. And yet, evening cylinder temperature hasn't fallen below 47C. We required an additional unscheduled kids bath last night (accident!), and this morning the top of cylinder was only 40C. However, despite the continual rain, our 260litre cylinder was heated back up to 50C (bottom and top temperature) by this evening.
