Sadly, all the photos are pre-digital and nobody can be bothered to scan them in.

We built the ground floor frame and then stuck down some 'sacrificial' flooring to give us a stable platform to work from. We then built the roof trusses flat, one on top of the other to make sure the dimensions were the same. Each truss took 76 nails each side. There were 11 normal trusses and three dormer trusses. Once we'd done them all, we had to turn the stack over and nail the other side.

It took us three weekends, to build all the trusses and another to raise them all and put on the sarking. Quite quick really.

Wouldn't have done it without my nail gun.
