Biomass only (veg oil) generator exaust gas into greenhouse for CO2 enrichment?

I was just reading a comment on the lister forum but it was not really explored.

Obviously exhaust gasses contain more than just CO2 and Water, and, even in a monitored CO2 enhnced greenhouse, the CO2 is only any good when the sun is on full...

Im just wondering if there may be anything in the idea?

wouldn't the carbon monoxide in the exhaust gasses kill the plants ?


there are big greenhouses next to some power plants which use the spill off hot water and co2 from the chimney to help inside the green houses....

with some of the Listers I've seen you could end up with 'ready larded toms'  Could make harvest a slippery affair.

I agree with the above. The exhaust is not very clean!! and would make a oily mess of the plants and the working environment would be very unpleasant, not to say potentially fatal.
