lets me honest the majority of sparks and plumbers dont give a toss how stuff is installed. you only have to look at notched joists to see that!!.

clearly there are some people out there who want to do a good job, but many dont given time constraints, or the lack of proper knowledge.

plastic pipework has been a god sent for the builder who thinks he can do everything and doesnt want to involve qualified tradesmen/women.

i feel sorry for anyone buying a new home these days. most will be poor quality due to price/bonus work with unachievable targets.

i know of a large company that pays its sparks £20 for a full eic certificate, after they have upgraded council houses. they fit new electrical accessores, new consumer unit and upgrade main bonds if required. and test for £20.......

From experience... let the sparkies loose, and they will drill straight through the pipes, guess you could bond it then... Wink

Well we would if we could but usually some plumber has put his ef***** pipes in the way........  tomatosplat  stir

Ho Ho , this is obviously a labour saving corner to cut, only REAL plumbers are qualified to make namely, fight a cable AND a pipe with the SAME DRILL. fight
