I had a question from OFGEM in my account this week (5 days after applying) so I'm hoping they have got more staff on board to process all the enquries.

Actually may go and check now to see if they have approved me....

Hi
Just checked my records. Scottish and Southern applied for my accreditation. I think I sent the paperwork to them in late October and the accreditation date was 4th Nov. I wonder, the power companies seem to get preference. I didn't get a letter confirming this accreditation but I am on the OFGEM site list and SSE also confirmed the accreditation number

PLAN OF ACTION.
1) Tonight applied to register with ofgem  - here -   https://www.renewablesandchp.ofgem.gov.uk/default.aspx
now waiting for password to proceed.

Password recieved today by email- that's the very first hurdle of a long race ,

Dear Mr Eno,

Your George Eno account is now ready to use in the renewables system.

Please find below your password required to access and manage your account.

Password: XXXXXXXXX

Please note that you will need to apply for accreditation for your generating station if you wish to claim ROCs, LECs or REGOs. If you wish to apply for accreditation you will need to access your account and submit an application to Ofgem via the "Apply for New Accreditation" part of the "Accreditation" section of the Renewables and CHP Register. Our Renewables and CHP Register User Guide provides step by step instructions on how to do this (see http://www.ofgem.gov.uk/Sustainability/Environment/RCHPreg/Pages/RCHPreg.aspx ).

Should you encounter any difficulties in gaining access to your account, please contact the Renewables & CHP team at renewable@ofgem.gov.uk.

Kind regards,

Below are the questions I have answered so far in my application. Have had to postphone untill I have drawn a schematic diagram.
NB -Once you have started your online application it appears you cannot stop without cancelling the application, BUT if you let it time out (20mins) you're application is saved as uncompleted !!
I guess you can always change answers by using the previous button on the web page -it says do not press back or refress!

A list of all my accreditation questions that have been answered in the accreditation process
