That's a really impressive price, given that I can see from the photos they are Sharp NU-180 panels!  I'd expect the panels alone to cost about £5,300!

Looks like a nice and easy install.  I've got the same kind of tiles on my roof... Maybe I'll give it a go myself.  At the moment I've got 320W of panels sitting the lawn today propped up on plastic chairs because I haven't figured out where to put them (the garden wall is full and the garage roof probably can't take any more weight  whistlie ).

Out of interest, how much did the brackets and strut cost?
Scaffolding... Don't get me started on scaffolding  fume

When I lived in me previous apartment, the building management company insisted on exterior maintenance work every five years and the maintenance company charged £13,000 for scaffolding to go up and badly paint the window frames (flaked off the next year).  I soon discovered why it cost £13,000 to hire some scaffolding... It turned up brand new, still in the wrappers.  They'd charged us to set a mate up in a new scaffolding business...

Outtasight,

Not sure what the costs of the brackets and channels was as I didn't ask for an itemised receipt.  Do you want me to try and find out?

Thanks Moxi, but don't put yourself out if you haven't got the prices to hand...

Anyway, I was looking at the building regs web site today and got overwhelmed by the paperwork you have to fill out to put things on your roof (if you want to DIY).  I could hire someone to do it for me who is accredited to self-certify the building & electrical work but then when was the last time any installer would install some random second hand kit that they weren't making a margin on and might get into strife if it broke in the process of lifting it up?

Then there's the small matter of having to make up random odd sized rails for the various shaped panels to go on.
