Most manufacturers have them downloadable from their websites. What make/model is it?

Hi Ted,

It is an SMA SunnBoy SWR2500.

Someone bought the one I had for sale, has paid me and now says it must have the G83 certificate.

I thought you can get them from the website.

Your buyer is being unreasonable. You don't claim that it has a G83 certificate and you wouldn't expect something that's 7 years old to have the original paperwork with it.

http://www.sma.de/en/products/solar-inverters/sunny-boy/sunny-boy-1100-1200-1700-2500-3000/dl/RzgzLTFfU0JXQjI1LTI4aS0zMF9aRU4wOTMxMTA%3D/download.html looks like it should be a G83 certificate for the current SB2500.

I've just bought an SB1100 and that wasn't supplied with a G83 certificate, although it did have a certificate about loads of EC standards which could probably be related to G83.

I'm not sure they come with an actual certificate....any more than CE-certified good come with a certificate.

The certificate is for the product type rather than for each tangible product. If the buyer is being unreasonable, tell them that the sticker on the device is the actual certificate (this has all the relevant details, and is required to prove compliance)
